Today in Moscow ended the first round of the European Grand Prix Rugby 7.
In the last group matches, the first meeting of our team became a duel with Spain. The match against Spain ended with the score 12:26 in favor of the Russians. In the semifinals wards Andrei Sorokin second team beat Great Britain (10:17), and in the finals have left no chances to France: 24: 7.
The next stage of Grand Prix Series will be held July 9-10 in English Exeter.
In the national team in the round of the Grand Prix was attended by players of “VVA-Saracenc Moscow region” Mikhail Babaev, Ilya Babayev Dmitry Perov and Vitaly Givat.
