14 players across the Saracens Global Network have been selected to represent Georgia, Russia and Romania in the European Nations Cup, which will take place over the next six weeks.
The European Nations Cup is the continental competition for Tier 2 and 3 rugby countries. The tournament is split into 7 divisions, each with 4-6 countries. The top division, also called the Six Nations B, features Georgia, Romania, Russia, Germany, Portugal and Spain.
Global Saracens selected:
Georgia (Lelo Saracens) – Lasha Khmaladze and Alexander Todua.
Romania (Timisoara Saracens) – Alexandru Tarus, Valentin Poparlan, Stelian Burcea and Valentin Calafeteanu.
Russia (Moscow Saracens) – Mikhail Babaev, Alexei Volkov, Igor Kluchnikov, Vladislav Korshunov, Alexei Panasenko, Sergey Sekisov, Sergey Trishin, Artem Fatahov and Alexander Yanyushkin.
